Race Information

This event takes thousands to the streets of downtown Atlanta to run a race, in the cold, for those who sleep in the cold. Metro Atlanta is home to over 7,000 homeless individuals, people who face the perilous conditions of winter without a roof over their heads. Your registration fee for the race will cover one night of shelter and services for someone who would otherwise spend the night in the cold, on the streets.

The race is also one of the last AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifiers before the lottery opens.

Beginner Runner Training Plans

Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!

In 3 workouts of 30 minutes or less per week, None to Run will take you from ground zero to running comfortably for 25 minutes straight.

None to Run is different from most beginner plans:

  • Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
  • Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
  • Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.

If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.

Thousands of people have already used the None to Run plan to finally become the runner they’ve always wanted to be.

Become a runner in 12 weeks with the None to Run app. Try it for free today!
