The Hummingbird Run seeks to raise awareness of distracted driving and the need to make the roads safer for all. Participants can choose to run, walk, or longboard a 5K or 10K race.
Race day activities include medals, food, entertainment, a raffle, and more. Free t-shirts to the first 300 registered. High School seniors participating in the event are entered into a drawing for scholarships at the end of the race. The race is organized by the Elizabeth K. Giordano Scholarship Fund.
