The Strawberry Distance Challenge is 5k and 10k run dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. The SDC benefits organizations and places in need including The Shade Tree, a nonprofit that offers ongoing support as well as a resource for families in ministry to step away from the sacrifice of a 24/7 position and be poured into, encouraged and receive a time of respite.

What you get…the coolest swag, fresh strawberries, bananas, water, medals for all finishers, placement medals if you’re fast enough and tickets to the Strawberry Festival if you’re faster than anyone else. Oh, yeah, and the coolest place to be on a Saturday morning in February.
