The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funding for ovarian cancer research, patient advocacy, and education. Held in Overland Park, Kansas, participants of all ages and abilities come together to run, walk, or dance across the finish line, showing support for those affected by ovarian cancer. The event offers various race categories, including a 5K, 1-mile walk, and virtual participation options, ensuring inclusivity for the entire community. Proceeds benefit the University of Kansas Cancer Center's ovarian cancer research efforts and support services for patients in the Kansas City metro area. The foundation's mission is to change the face of ovarian cancer through improved treatment options and increased awareness.
