Join Homeboy Industries and 5,000+ runners, walkers, volunteers, and kids for the annual Homeboy 5K through historic Downtown Los Angeles! The event starts with a music-infused, morning-long celebration outside Homeboy Industries' Chinatown headquarters and ends with a street celebration featuring artists, partners and vendors from across the city.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
