On your mark, get set, STOMP! Runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to join the Milwaukee Zoo for the traditional running of this January race, the Samson Stomp & Romp!
A fun, competitive winter run, the 5K is a two-loop, chip-timed, curvy route so come dressed in your winter performance best! All other runs are fun runs.
This popular race honors one of the most famous Zoo residents the Milwaukee Zoo has ever had, Samson, the silverback gorilla (1950-1981). Money raised from the event supports all of the animals in the Zoo’s collection.
