Boring Marathon
Race Information
Although it's called the Boring Marathon, you won't get bored while participating in this event. The Boring Marathon, Half-Boring Half-Marathon, Constantly Boring 8k and Virtually Boring Virtual Marathon take place in Boring, OR, with spectacular views of Mt. Hood and goat sightings, among other things.
Each year is slightly different; check the official website for route options and registration fees.
Participants receive medals and beer glasses.
If you're planning your fall runs, this marathon takes place a few weeks after Head to Coast and a few weeks before the Portland Marathon. It's a good opportunity to train for the Portland Marathon.
Run Pick of the Month - Astoria Run on the River
Get a unique locally made, stamped glass finisher medal on May 11, 2024.
Run on the River is Astoria's premier half marathon, 10k, and 5k. You can expect for take in beautiful views of the Columbia River on the fast, and flat course along the Astoria river walk.
Couple more things that we think make this run worth checking out; all finishers earn a hand blown glass medal from Fern Hill Glass Studio, and, the race finishes up at the Buoy Beer lager festival (craft beer and food carts!).
