The 10K, Half Marathon and 35K courses are faster than other races staged by Inside Trail because they have less elevation but they are consistent in a design intended to push each runner.
The Reservoir Dogs Trail Race is the first trail-running event allowed to completely circumnavigate the Briones Reservoir on the serene–and usually “permit-only”–East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) trails. Most trail runs are inherently beautiful, but this course offers more rolling open fire roads and boasts a nice progression of quintessentially East Bay environments, along with tree covered single-track and sweeping views of the watershed lands.
