The Governor’s Cup caters to families, recreational runners and elite athletes looking for a scenic and top-notch event. Every year, thousands of runners from around Montana and the United States toe the line to celebrate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
The Governor’s Cup offers a wide variety of events, including the marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, 10K, 5K, Fun Run, or the Kid’s Marathon (through participating elementary schools). The race, which is home to the longest running Montana marathon, has been going strong in Helena for 50 years.
