The annual Hillybilly Hike Half Marathon & 10k races are a fundraiser for the Thrive Church Mission Team. The races feature three start lines, one finish line with chip timing, amazing swag, custom medals to all participants, and trophies to top finishers, plus age division awards.

The half marathon and 10k are point-to-point races, and bus transportation is provided. The Greubel Memorial 5k was added in 2017 to raise funds for three kids in the church community who tragically lost their parents. It is an out and back, and funds will go towards the kids' college savings plans.

Previous participants love these races' flat and fast courses, with the Half Marathon event downhill, and then flat the rest of the way. When you reach the finish line in Carlisle, Iowa, you will be greeted with festive music and delicious grub served up by friendly volunteers. You can have your custom medal engraved, then ring the PR Bell near the photo booth.
