The Zoomies 50K is a unique race experience. The event happens at a 1.55-mile loop that you complete twenty (20) times for the 50K (or twice for the 5K, 4 times for 10K, and 6 times for 15K), which you will find to be flat and fast.

For 46 years, runners of all levels and abilities have supported Lincoln Park Zoo with Run for the Zoo. This run makes it easy for anyone from casual runners to elite athletes help support their favorite species at the zoo and save them in the wild.
The 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk courses are U.S.A. Track & Field-certified and chip-timed for experienced athletes. All finishers receive a unique animal-themed medal along with a race shirt.
Run for the Zoo is also designed to accommodate every member of the family, so you can make a day of it. The Kids’ Course is perfect for kids ages 2–7, who can run, climb, and crawl over playful obstacles on the South Lawn.
