Race Information
The City of Des Moines will host the Greater Des Moines Midwest Half Marathon Series. Each event in the Midwest Half Marathon Series will offer a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, and the popular Kids One Mile Fun Run for the youngest competitors. The races start and finish just steps from the Polk County Courthouse on Court Avenue in the heart of downtown Des Moines, Iowa!
Each Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K event is produced by Premier Event Management, and they will offer an exciting youth event in each market. The Kids One Mile Fun Run will start and finish from the main finish line structure, making the Kids event something extra special on race morning. Children aged 5 to 15 are encouraged to join mom and/or dad on race morning to begin a lifelong lifestyle change at Kids One Mile Fun Run!
