Race Information

"Romantic River “Run-cation”

In scenic Comfort, Texas, you'll begin in Comfort Park, near the center of town. The race starts near the Gazebo and takes off into the heart of the scenic Texas Hill Country.

Comfort, Texas, is a Hill Country gem. This small historic town occupies a central location with scenic drives leading to Fredericksburg, Boerne, and Kerrville. San Antonio is only 30 minutes away. Comfort is the perfect nucleus of all that the beautiful Hill Country has to offer. The owners of all of these downtown businesses will greet you as you come in to try out their unique storefronts.

The town features almost 100 historic buildings constructed before 1910, seven of which were designed by noted architect Alfred Giles. Much of the town is designated a National Historic District. Runners love this area for its rolling hills and river access to Cypress Creek and the Guadalupe River. Shady streets and low water crossing so that you can reach out and touch the river.

The SKYDOME 10MILER defines the Texas Hill Country. Complete this doozy, and you will have instant bragging rights.
