Brisbane Road Runners Club was established in 1982 and its events are generally held every second Sunday. Races start and finish at the South Brisbane Sailing Club, Hill End Terrace. The participants and spectators can use the clubhouse and gather under large shady trees. The course is a certified 5km loop along Riverside Drive and Hill End Terrace with all kilometre points marked.
