Homer Spit Run is Homer's oldest running race and starts near downtown and finishes at the scenic end of Homer's Spit on Kachemak Bay. The 10k is USATF certified, with much of the course on the Homer Spit Bike Path. Events have low entry fees and offer runners an event t-shirt and prizes/ medals to the top finishers.
