Race Information
The Scafell Sky Race is a classic Lake District route suited for experienced mountain runners. With 40km of mountain terrain and 2800m of ascent, all on technical, single-track trails from start to finish, this makes this classic skyrunning route a test of speed and endurance.
Participants will start at the centre of the Great Langdale Valley and the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, and will run over the Lakeland Fells, through Lakeland Valleys, and to the summit of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike.
