The point-to-point route follows the Great River Road Scenic Byway, featuring a stretch along Red Oak Road that provides serene views of the Mississippi River. Held during Iowa's peak leaf season, participants are treated to vibrant fall foliage throughout the course. The event includes a half marathon, a relay option, a 10k+, and a family-friendly 5k, catering to various fitness levels. Organized by a local nonprofit, proceeds benefit community services such as fire and EMS departments.
