2026 Iowa City Run for the Schools

Race Information

Run for the Schools is a legendary run held in downtown Iowa City. Enjoy a 1/2 and 1 mile fun runs as well as a 5K/10K timed runs on city streets with a party in the adjoining Chauncey Park after. Iowa City Road Races, Inc. is a non-profit group of volunteers committed to provide a means for fundraising in the community while promoting health and fitness through running at all skill levels.

Run for the Schools directly benefits students from the Iowa City Community School District and Regina Catholic Education Center.
