The races feature obstacles like walls, ropes, mud pits, and natural terrains like hills and streams. The events are open to all fitness levels, from beginners to elite athletes. The Spartan Race was created by Joe De Sena, a former Wall Street trader, to inspire people to push themselves to their limits and live more active, fulfilling lives.
