Race Information

The 5 Peaks event at Bowmont Park is the third event in the Central Alberta race series.

Bowmont Park lies along the northern bank of the Bow River in the northwest part of the city. The park was created in the early 1980s and occupies about 164 hectares. The name is a contraction of the names of the nearby communities of Bowness and Montgomery.

The trail race features a variety of distances, including the 7.4 km Sports Course and the 11.7 km Enduro Course. The event also has a couple of options for the kids -- the 1 km Children's Challenge and the 3 km Timed Kids' Race. Fun trail running for everyone!
