Houston's 'Largest Office Party' is going into its 7th year in 2023. Hess Houston Corporate 5K is coming off its biggest year ever with 6,300 participants in 2022! This after-work happy hour event promotes corporate wellness and employee team building in Houston, and is amongst the largest corporate runs in the country with over 160 Houston companies!
This 5K fun run/walk with your co-workers is followed by an exciting outdoor healthy happy hour with refreshments, live entertainment, and much more! The 2023 event will take place at Memorial Park on October 17-19th.
All levels of runners and walkers are encouraged to participate on their “Company Team.” Corporate wellness and events in Houston are as important now as ever, so the organizers look forward to your company joining other participating companies! Act fast, as the race sold out tent space early in 22'!

Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
