Bear Mountain Trail Challenge
Race Information
The Spartan Trail Races are a series of off-road running events that take place around the world. The event was created by the same company that started the popular Spartan Race series of obstacle course races.
Located on the west bank of the Hudson River just an hour outside New York City, Bear Mountain State Park is home to an endless network of trails connecting streams, lakes, and minor peaks. The elevation profile suggests a speedy course, but the rugged terrain will challenge racers of all abilities. Most of the route passes through dense forest, but some of the higher points offer great views of the surrounding area.
