Spartan Trail Central California
Race Information
The Spartan Trail Races are a series of off-road running events that take place around the world. Participants of all levels are invited to tackle a range of distances and terrains, from 10K to ultra-marathon distances, with obstacles such as steep inclines, rocky paths, and mud pits. These races offer a unique challenge that requires endurance, strength, and mental fortitude. With events taking place in some of the world's most stunning locations, the Spartan Trail Races offer runners the chance to push their limits while experiencing nature's beauty. The event is by the same company that started the popular Spartan Race series of obstacle course races.
Central California is full of classic Central Coast scenery, with rolling grassy hills, wide open cow pastures, and oak-line arroyos winding throughout the venue. While it might not appear mountainous and technical at first glance, the hills here are deceptively steep and long, your footing will often be unsure, and whatever rhythm you find is sure to be broken by the constantly changing terrain. Make sure to stick around after the race to sample some of the local wine made from grapes grown right on the course!
This weekend also features Spartan Obstacle Course Races.
