In this edition of Get to Know Your Running Clubs we chatted with Jillian D'Amato the founder of RUNFELLOW gear and Run Club.

Tell us a bit about your club history, how long has the club been around?
RUNFELLOW Run Club will be celebrating our 3rd Anniversary this July. We started it based on demand from the community. We were selling our gear at local races and trying to spread the word, when runners kept asking us if we had a run club. So we started one and never looked back.
Tell us a bit about your membership? What level of runners do you cater to?
We have runners of ALL abilities and paces and that's what we're excited about. RUNFELLOW is based on the belief that everyone needs motivation, despite your ability and we like your pace, no matter what it is.
Where/when does your club usually meet/run?
Always @7:30pm
Tuesdays in Somerville/Cambridge
Thursdays in Downtown Boston
We change locations each week, but always meet at a bar where we stash our bags and then come back to at the end to rehydrate and socialize.
Any cost to be a member/join?
RFRC is and always will be FREE!
Is your group affiliated with any events?
We aren't affiliated with any specific events, but we try to promote and engage with our community and actively participate in local events.
Any cool routes/ favourite areas to run in your city that you would like to recommend to other runners? Why do you like those?
Running along the Charles River never gets old, especially at sunset, and Minuteman Bike Path is great too. Running under the Zakim Bridge is a fun spot as well.
Do you have any favourite local races?
We love the M.O.M.'s Run and the Cambridge Classic 5k Series, they always have great afterparties and welcome our large group with open arms.
Anything else that we should know?
We started as a running gear company with the intention of motivating fellow runners and building community with our gear. The more time we spent with runners, the more we realized the best way to build community was through our run club. We sell our gear with our signature tagline "I LIKE YOUR PACE" on our website, for everyone to enjoy. We are really excited about the success and growth of our community, built of runners of all abilities.
