Minneapolis - Saint Paul St. Patrick's Day Races

O'Gara's Irish Run

Date: March 9, 2019
Distance: 5k, 8k

Join us for a classic Twin Cities St. Patrick’s Day race. Since 1973, our fast, gently rolling course has been a great place to start your spring racing season. Both courses are USATF certified. 

Our event includes an 8k and a 5k.  The 8k is the USATF Minnesota State Championship 8K race and a part of the USATF Minnesota Team Circuit.  The 5k is the fun one with lots of costumes. Both courses are USATF Certified. Leprechauns are welcome, and everyone is encouraged to wear their best green outfits!

O'Gara's is undergoing rebuilding/remodeling in 2019 so we will be headquartering in Whole Foods across the street from O'Gara's for just this yea

Everybodys Irish

Date: March 16, 2019
Distance: 5k, 10k

Join this fun festive race around Lake Calhoun in March. Getting in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day was never so easy with all the amazing spirit and decorations around on race day.  Come out and celebrate your Irish roots with us at the Everybody's Irish 5k/10k.  Costumes are encouraged!

Irish Scamper 5K

Distance: 5k, 10k

The Scamper is hosted by the Maple Lake High School Irish track and field team. The day will feature a 5K, winding through the "old town" of Maple Lake.

Luck O' The Lake 5K

Date: March 16, 2019
Distance: 1mi, 5k

The Luck O' The Lake 5K is brought to you by Bridegwater Bank. This is a great opportunity to shake off the rust from a long winter indoors and get out for an early spring run. Once you cross the finish line, stay and celebrate St. Paddy's Day in Excelsior. There will be live music and a tent party all day after the race!
