Join the annual PeaceHealth Appletree Boston-qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon, and Sunset 5K. All first responders - military, peace officers, health professional, firefighters - can also compete in the first responders marathon relay designed to feature and honor those serving our community.
This “Run Through History” will take you on a flat, fast and scenic course through Fort Vancouver, Officer’s Row, the Army Barracks, Pearson Airport (the oldest operating airport in the USA), the Historical Old Apple Tree, along the majestic Columbia River and many other historical vantage points. There’s so much to see that the miles will fly by!

Run Pick of the Month - Astoria Run on the River
Get a unique locally made, stamped glass finisher medal on May 11, 2024.
Run on the River is Astoria's premier half marathon, 10k, and 5k. You can expect for take in beautiful views of the Columbia River on the fast, and flat course along the Astoria river walk.
Couple more things that we think make this run worth checking out; all finishers earn a hand blown glass medal from Fern Hill Glass Studio, and, the race finishes up at the Buoy Beer lager festival (craft beer and food carts!).
