Take part in this mixed-distance event along the Arroyo Creek in Simi Valley. Perfect for runners of all stripes, the route will be shaded by overhanging trees and runners will behold epic views of the nearby Santa Susana Mountains. Come for the striking landscape or for unique finisher's medal.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
