Race Information
The 5th Avenue Mile is an iconic New York Road Runners race. Check your laces, then run your best mile down 20 blocks of New York City streets. The race will take a straight line down 5th Avenue, starting near East 80th Street and finishing near East 60th Street. The first-quarter mile to 75th Street is a slight downhill. The second quarter-mile to 70th features a slight uphill. The third quarter-mile is another gentle downhill and the final quarter-mile to 60th Street is a final 5-block run on a flat surface.
