The Spartan Trail Races are a series of off-road running events that take place around the world. Participants of all levels are invited to tackle a range of distances and terrains, from 10K to ultra-marathon distances, with obstacles such as steep inclines, rocky paths, and mud pits. These races offer a unique challenge that requires endurance, strength, and mental fortitude. With events taking place in some of the world's most stunning locations, the Spartan Trail Races offer runners the chance to push their limits while experiencing nature's beauty. The event is by the same company that started the popular Spartan Race series of obstacle course races.
Big Bear is the most legendary mountain resort in Southern California and has long been a favorite training ground for some of the country’s top runners.
You’ll be following in their footsteps as you explore the picturesque trails of this venue and experience views of the Southern Sierra, wildlife, wildflowers, and the altitude.
