The Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon is a world-class running event attracting runners of all abilities and ages from across the world. The event features eight races over two days, including the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon, CPL Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, CPL Wheelchair 10km, Gold Coast Airport 5km Fun Run, Health and Wellbeing Queensland 4km Junior Dash and Health and Wellbeing Queensland 2km Junior Dash.
The course is flat and fast along the scenic surf beaches and Broadwater. The winter climate with mild temperatures, little wind, and low humidity form the ideal running conditions, helping around 60% of participants achieve their personal best times.
